Proposed States of India & the shift of Global Economy from the South of Spain to North of Bangladesh

I love maps since they really do say a 1000 words and more. I personally think the idea of a 50-state India, with 20mn people apiece is a brilliant brilliant step forward. For instance Kerala can be split into a Muzzer-majority Malabar, which would make geographic sense and take the wind out of so much ethno-religious rivarly.

My Dad has been posting a few on his Facebook profile but for anyone asking what are the borders of South Asia; all I can say are (in the spirit of Diwali/Deepavali), follow the lights:

What I absolutely love in this map is that it automatically brings to the fore a few macro regions:

Europe, Middle East & North Africa are contiguous, which is essentially where the Classical World (all the action) took place.

The Aryans dropped off in Central Asia and India forms a huge distinct territory in the heart of Asia (frankly Asia, North Africa and Europe seem to form one huge macro-continent).

Finally of course the “East” is Sino China that is bordered by the Indo-China region.

As for the New World (which is the rest of the world apart from Nigeria) is essentially shaped/settled by Europeans.

Finally to weave in the final part of the maps posted by my father; it’s interesting to see that the axis of the global economy is just south of Spain but by 2050, at current rates, will be north of Bangladesh.

  1. “Europe, Middle East & North Africa are contiguous, which is essentially where the Classical World (all the action) took place.”

Northern Europe was still primitive and barbarian during the classical age…..

By the way, I am surprised that no one sees how utterly fraudulent is that picture from space that shows impoverished India as lit up with electric lights as the developed nations! In stark contrast to neighboring Pakstan. Lol. Despite the fact that the majority of Indians live in villages, a very large percentage of which have yet to be electrified….

The Hindutva con man who photoshopped that picture is probably to blame for that stupid “India Shining” slogan that lost the BJP the election soon after that picture deceived the Internet. Lol at the unintended consequences…
