On aug 14 th 1947, SSO Of Gurkha was a Muslim Captain who flew Pakistan flag in the center of Dalhousie about 2 miles from Cantonment .
However the boundary commission put Dalhousie in India and an Indian flag was hoisted .
The SSO left Dalhousie on the night or early morning of aug 17Th 1947 for Pakistan .
Do U know the name of this Captain – Station Staff Officer ? He was with Gurkha regiment.

For some it is nostalgic and will remain so. Presently we can only see the Pakis as an adversary. We can use the nostalgic memory to good use by exploiting their weaknesses.

Nostalgic! It is extremely sad & painful that once friends, colleagues & comrades in arms, suddenly turned to deadly foes due to the turns of the turbulant political events leading to the partition of the Indian sub-continent.
