Agreed about the latter. The first 20 minutes or so can be labelled insightful

But she could have defended the BJP without behaving like an ahole.She was outright raging at a mildly critical question about the BJP.
Like what did she expect when she was called here.Doesn’t she attend primetime debates on TV?

I don’t think it’s possible to have a nuanced discussion with a politician unless he/she has their own base. Spokespeople like Shazia are beholden to Modi for their positions and can’t be caught saying stuff that’s not approved by party line.

That said, I think there was some interesting points by her about her background.

Jeez , she loves to grandstand ! Just repeating her bullshit talking points and got so pissed when Gaurav pushed her initially. I think she would love to be in AAP but probably her personality is hated and she has nowhere to go except suck to suck up to the BJP. I think BJP attracts a certain type of spokesperson, there is a pattern here with Malviya, Patra, Ilmi, etc. I am sure there are more out there I stopped watching TV.

I didn’t know 20% of Muslims voted for the BJP in 2019.

Seemed way to high but it checks out based on google.

It is significantly higher for eg. than the percentage of black people in the US who voted republican in any of the last few presidential elections.
