Some of your arguments look quite weak. People like Fa Hien or Al Biruni never talked about civilizational unity of India. They recognized Indianness but it just shows that Indians were closer to each other in terms of physical appearance and lifestyle than the societies these visitors were familiar with. In 19th century all white Europeans were called Gora Sahibs by rural Indians. It does not mean Indian villagers recognized the civilizational identity of Europe.

One can see the difference between islamists, communists and Indians/Hindus.

demography is destiny, everything else is bs. demography and local institutions of asabiyya, rendering services, from schools,colleges to hospitals.

BJP is not willing to turn temples into force multipliers by engaging them, taking over etc. one has to worry more about missionaries in the longer run. Those that evade immune response are what matters.

Delimitation and caste census are going to be major disruptions. However since delimitation is not due till 26, the caste census rolled out in BH will intensified in run up to 24. It will be the fulfillment of western rw critique of multicultural democracy wherein every election will become a census of different groups. In our case elections themselves might be replaced by caste census 😄.
