where do you get “desire” to split Pakistan from? From an Indian perspective, Pakistan collapsing is not really an optimal outcome. Having multiple Somalias or Afghanistans on its western flank is not something that benefits India.

But its naive to pretend that there aren’t serious secessionist fault lines for Pakstain to contend with when it comes to the Baloch, or the Durand line.

From a “hard” geopolitical perspective, a zombie forever flirting with economic collapse Pakistan is in India’s interests. and the PakMil is doing a good job of delivering just that.

From an ‘optimistic’ peacenik perspective, a relatively stable Pakistan that manages to finally attain aazaadi for itself, and then makes peace with India, is the better alternative.

This Indian desire to see Balochistan separate from Pakistan just reveals their deeply anti-Pakistan attitude.

If I was obsessed with freeing Tamil Nadu from India, you would rightly argue that the problem was with me. Pakistanis have no designs on any part of India proper. We simply want Occupied Kashmir.

What you don’t seem to understand is that Pakistan’s nationhood does not depend on whether the “richest Muslims are all Indians”. Pakistan’s nationhood is based on the idea that the Muslims of BRITISH India were a nation and thus deserved a nation-state of our own. We achieved that nation-state. The fact that we did so is what is at the core of your anti-Pakistan attitude.

But that orbit EXISTS in India. It simply does not in Pakistan.

The elitest of elitest Muslims did not migrate. Hindus did.

Richest Muslims in the SC are all Indian. As are the biggest actors etc.

No one is saying India is perfect but to claim to be the homeland of “Indian Muslims” and then having the cream of the crop remain Indian is not a good look for Pakistanis.
