In reply to X.T.M. Maybe in Iran but not in the subcontinent where your community is often times the only stable and reliable form of social security one has. It will be a long time before a similar secularization can even be seen and even then this may only reinforce cultural identities more as we see with the Pakistani origin commentators on this site
