Atheists are wishful thinkers. Existential problems will continue for all future. religions offer an immersive experience to deal with this among other tools. Unless one actually counters them by offering alternative mechanisms, I dont see how. Here daniel dennet is surprisingly reasonable.

I kind of agree with that. I saw the linked youtube program. Thanks. From a South Asian point of view Salman Rushdie, who should know something about religion said the solution to bad religion is not no religion but good religion. Something to ponder. Peace.
