Thank you, Kabir
KK writes on excellent topics, AI and art among them. He is also almost certainly BB, which makes him KB: Kishore Badshah.
Kabir emailed the admin team about a set of KB’s comments. They attacked a Pakistani female politician. They referred to her looks and used a very offensive, misogynistic term of abuse. The Gender Protocol demands courtesy towards women. KB grossly violated it.
KB has had a 20-comment removal fine. That is a sad outcome, because his comments on AI and art were particularly high signal. It is also a public warning: this behaviour will never be tolerated.
When Kabir stepped out of line last month with his own extremely ugly comments, we held him accountable and left those comments up as a deliberate reminder. The Protocols and Precedents exist for a reason.
Many thanks to Kabir for using the appropriate channel and emailing in these gross violations, which had slipped past us.
We always prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our small community. We also hold very firm redlines on acceptable language, especially towards women, minorities and other marginalised people.

I was also convinced that KK = BB, but i’m not sure anymore. Either way, his or their contributions are great!
It is but then when he slips. I read through his comments and then when he talks about Pakistan, he slips back into BB.
I am reluctant to permanently delete all of KB’s 17-19 excellent high signal comments.
If he is contrite and makes a full and unreserved apology for using abusive, misogynistic and hateful language; we will restore the high signal comments.
oh, i completely missed whatever that devolved into, and don’t mean to endorse it if it was hateful/abusive.
Some observations on the language that has been frequently used in comments. What you write says more about you than it does about the targeted individual.
KK could have made the point on Shireen Mazari being a Hinduphobic, genocidal cowardly bigot without bringing her gender into it. Would her behavior be any better or worse had she been considered beautiful like a Hina Rabbani Khar? So why focus on that instead of rightly drawing attention to her absolutely despicable record on various counts?
Ultimately, such statements while one may think are directed at just one person you dislike slowly forms the architecture subconciously. The language degrades into unmentionable linguistic violence towards women in general. How you speak in a room with no women in them speaks volumes about how you perceive them.
So this is a sincere request. To all the commentariat, please refrain from using absolutely derogatory language towards anyone.
