I am Pakistani-American. I am a Hindustani classical vocalist and ethnomusicologist. I hold a B.A from George Washington University (Dramatic Literature, Western Music) and an M.Mus (Ethnomusicology) from SOAS, University of London. Jyoti Rahman writes very well! This piece made me wonder if NCP’s closest analog in Indian politics is the AAP – very good at ‘revolutionary’ activism, not quite so hard politics and governance.
