very nice conversation. as somebody outside the natural age to learn a new language, i found learning samskrutam difficult because the teaching is more grammer based right from the beginning and the exam based system for measurement of success. this aspect needs to be addressed.
if fact udaya shreyas did mention this aspect.

one another point:
mishra points out rightly that the traditional sanskrit scholars are not well rounded in the sense that they lack skills in english, science , etc. in the long run this problem is being solved the ‘secular’ educated guys taking up sanskrit on the side. such schools have started in karnataka.
in the immediate, the traditional scholars need to make teams of ‘other secular’ educated guys and publish their papers.
