Kind of random but half-way through reading Salman Rushdie’s Midnight’s Children, its a fun read especially if you are into the stuff we discuss here you will enjoy it.
Since the story runs parallel through post-Independence history of India / Pakistan and the creation of Bangladesh. And the main character’s childhood seems loosely based on Salman himself who was also born in 1947 just a bit before independence so the details are very well fleshed out.

AGI in 5 yrs seems likely, I can think of a possible way perhaps. But I am sure, they will also find it. But with more compute available in next 10 yrs, it will easily be found.
